Cutting Micro Parts

Laser cut micro parts
Micro cut parts cannot only be found in high-quality watches. The trend towards miniaturization has long affected other areas: digital cameras and medical technology are evident examples, even car sensors and motors more and more contain such components.
Micro cut parts require extremely high precision – this is where the laser proves its benefits. Modern lasers can cut high-precision parts with a thickness of up to 0.6 mm (2 mm on demand) from standard foils.
LaserMicronics processes stainless steel, nickel, molybdenum and titanium with a repeat accuracy of ±2 µm and radii of 10 µm. Laser processing supersedes the production of additional tools – which now even makes the production of small and medium-sized batches profitable, directly from the layout data.
Even single pieces are profitable: LaserMicronics produces gobos for projectors – fast, precise and cost-effective.
