LaserMicronics – Your Laser Microprocessing Service Provider
LaserMicronics is a specialist for laser processing of circuit boards, plastics, and stainless steel. Offerings range from prototyping to mass production – comprehensive consulting and feasibility studies are also included.
The laser specialists at the two locations in Garbsen and Fürth use high-quality, state-of-the-art laser technology. They produce technically and qualitatively high-end products with innovative manufacturing methods and thus make economical production possible.
At the headquarters in Garbsen, LaserMicronics works with a wide range of state-of-the-art UV, IR, and ultrashort-pulse laser systems. As a contract manufacturer, LaserMicronics makes use of its extensive laser know-how for diverse customers, mainly in the medical, electronics, and automotive industries.
At the second location in Fürth, LaserMicronics offers laser plastic welding services. With its reliable, hygienic welded seams and continuous process monitoring, this process has especially established itself in the sensitive automotive and medical technology industries, but it is also used in other branches of industry.
Company History
1989
LaserMicronics GmbH was founded in 1989 as Elaser GmbH. Then, as now, the company developed new forms of production with lasers, which they would later use in contract manufacturing.
2003
In October 2003, the company changed its name to LaserMicronics GmbH.
2010
LaserMicronics GmbH moved to a new production building right around the corner at the Garbsen location. In conjunction with the move, the LPKF subsidiary acquired new laser systems and paved the way for new production steps in-house.
2019
Since the merger with the parent company LPKF Laser & Electronics SE in August 2019, LaserMicronics has been the LPKF brand for services and contract manufacturing in the field of microprocessing of materials.
